Theme note, and some others
30 December 2006
I’ll go back to the other theme when the wedding’s over. I can’t figure out how to format the counter so it looks halfway decent on that theme. Actually, I didn’t try. I thought about it for a while and decided it would be too overwhelming to try.
Please pray that the bits and pieces fall into place for the wedding!

Good to know I’m not alone. What I WANT is to be married. What I WANT is to not be stressed. What I WANT does NOT currently include anything having to do with cakes, flowers, decorations, or timing.
Thank you very much.
Rant over.

Ahhh… Too well I know.
You mean you really don’t want to determine the color of the pen on the guestbook? The number of brownies on a tray? The appropriate shade for the dessert napkins? Whether you even need dessert napkins or if regular napkins will do just fine? I have to say, I like weddings (and the accompanying stress) a lot better as an innocent bystander.
But you’ll be married soon (looking forward to the wedding!) and then… well it will be better, but better in a weird challenging, fun, what-on-earth am I doing sort of way. And then you can enjoy watching the next person get married…

Enjoy the next one…or grieve with them for the stressed-out lifestyle they will have to live for the 6-months up to the wedding. I mean, I’m not sure what I’ll even DO with my free time after the wedding…what is it like to have free time again?
